This clock is battery powered for the actual clock, but it has internal LED lights which are mains powered by a transformer.

You will need to go to ebay and look for a few things:

AA lithium battery (gives a good long life to the clock) Quartz clock mechanism (non-ticking is best) Quartz clock hands, choose size by length of minute hand, you need 55 mm.
