The Interlocking Tile Pieces are a snug fit but can be easily taken apart and assemble into a different game.

Snap together White Tiles and Inserts Snap together Black Tiles and Inserts Assemble your chess board (see example pic).
[Update 10/05/2010] Just added ITG_EEEE_Z25_InsetLidTop that snaps into the base and forms a small box. Doing this completely blocks the bottom tile color so you loose the inlay effect. good news is that you could print all the interlocking basis in the same color and just print the inset box lids in different colors.
