Update - FaceMaskV4 Reinforced joints Cleaner design Still 0.3mm layer height For 1mm nozzle you can print in spiral mode. A slight over extrusion is suggested (1.08) but not too much to close the slit. For 0.4mm nozzle print using 0% infill, no top or bottom layers, 0.5mm extrusion width, 2 perimeters, again a slight over extrusion (1.08).
Update - 1mmNozcliplessShieldV3 This is an update for those using 1mm nozzles. To be printed with 0.3mm layer height. Can be printed using vase mode. I set extrusion width to 1mm and then extrusion multiplier to 1.2 (I suggest playing with these 2 settings to get the slit in the front right and the walls bonding everywhere else).
New version Updated - FaceMaskCliplessV2
- Increased slit from 0.2mm to 0.3mm.
- Added wave profile in slit for increased clamping ability for a wider range of printers and settings.
- Flanged open the slit top and bottom by 0.3mm to assist with inserting plastic and preventing elephant foot on first layer joining the slit.
- Decreased text depth.
- Opened up the sides for better comfort.

Stacked version can be printed on a 0.3mm layer height but it recommended you reduce the layer height at the seams.
I am getting about 10 face shields per 13 hours per printer.
