Introducing Yet Another Kerbal Controller! I've always wanted to play KSP with a proper controller, but I didn't have the means to make one when I played the game. The announcement of KSP2 rekindled my interest in the genre so I decided it was finally time to build a controller.
The controller is designed as a desk clip-on which can be clamped onto a edge up to 40mm in thickness.
Parts needed:
- M8 x 70 screw with hand turn knob
- M8 heat set inserts
- M3 heat set inserts (Initeq design used - long version)
- M3 x 10mm countersunk screws
- M3 x 25mm countersunk screws
- M2 x 8mm screws
- Cherry MX style switch
- Rectangular push button
- Large toggle switch with cover
- Mini toggle switch
- Slide potentiometer
- Potentiometer joysticks
- PSP joysticks
- Arduino MEGA 2560 R3
- Be careful which one you use, not all Arduino have a USB controller chip which can be flashed properly!
- version used for this build: ELEGOO MEGA 2560 R3
