2020-03-30 Have heard rumblings online that visor with closed top gives better protection against aerosols. A face shield does not give 100% protection against so small partikles as they can also come in from the sides. Unfortunately, a closed top also reduces flexability witch in turn reduces comfort. Version 3 tries to both be comfortable but still give some protection from falling droplets/aerosols.
2020-03-27 Uploaded version 2 adjusted for sweedish standard regarding holdes in paper. I recommend printing in vase mode with 2 layers at bottom. Delivered first batch of 100 to the hospital in uppsala today. They where happy :o)
2020-03-20 Version 2 of the file is now uploaded and available. Redesigned length and changed the vertical stabilizer to a spring for better build in flexability to increase comfort when having it on for a long time. A drawback with version 2 is that ou will only be able to fit one print on a prusa sized bed (250x210mm).
2020-03-20 I just got feedback from medical profetional, the shield is too close to the face. I will update the design shortly and add new version number to the stl file.
This remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4159366 is optimized for print time (bout 22 min with 0.35 layerheight). A side benefit is flexability in the frame that increase comfort when wearing. You don't need rubber band anymore, you can just use a string or whatever. Also added a loop, so the string wont fall off.
