I wanted an automatic jigging tipup. This is what I have so far. It works good but I do have some future improvements planned. The motor I was using was a little loud so I am going to switch to a quieter 6v one with lower rpms. I also plan on making it so they break down and you can stack two on top of each other to make a box. Those updates might not be done till next ice season though.
The trigger is based of this design https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:77050. I added a level to hold the line on when it is jigging. The original design doesn't work when there is any slack in the line.

Vitamins I made this out of what I had laying around and recommend you do also.
- Various number 8 wood screws
- A piece of 20mm aluminum square stock. When i printed the arm it broke. I didn't want to print the entire rod hold again so i mount it on what I had. You could probably make a piece for this and print it.
- Snap Swivel
- Zip Tie
- Small wood screws to mount trigger rope mount
- Small bungee to hold on top of box
- 4 3mmx20ish bolts for motor mount
- Motor I was using a 20mm 12v motor with gear box rated at 30 rpm. Gear box has two flat sides and two rounded. If yours is different then you will need to modify the mount. I was only giving it 7v to slow it down.
- Power source I used 2 18650 but anything thing that fits your motor should be fine.
- 20mm switch or modify case and use what you have
