This hexacopter is my first attempt to build one from scratch. Everything except the electronics is printed.

The bare frame weighs about 100-110 grams. As you can see the build is not yet complete but the plastic parts are, so why not share it with you.

Note 18022013: I have changed the motor arm and stand a bit for more stability (V2). I hope I can add a first flight video next week (still waiting for parts...).

Instructions

The primary components are as follows (available from Hobbyking):

• Turnigy 1811 2900KV Brushless Outrunner
• Turnigy Plush 6A ESCs
• 5030 Props
• 5030R Props
• 1000mAh 2S LiPo (Quad) or 2200mAh 2S LiPo (Hex)
• KK2 Flight Controller or similar (45mm hole spacing, flat side forward)

I think the setup should be very straight forward. Everything is put together with 3 mm bolts and nuts.
