I wanted both a humid hide as well as a normal hide my Ball Python could use all the time. If you want to use it as a normal hide just put your substrate inside about an inch deep. If you need to use as a humid hide place some damp moss inside and you are all set.

I suggest printing the top and bottom separate. The bottom may need supports but the top shouldn't if printed separately. There shouldn't be any sharp edges, but if there are make sure to sand down till smooth for your pets safety.
