This is a case made for a D1 - mini That I use to control a couple of strings of addressable LEDs (WS2812B) that I put on my christmas tree. But it will work just as well for any other project.

The top is just friction fit. using the layer lines of the print to hold it together.

Parts used 5.5MM x 2.1MM 10Pack Male DC Power socket Grommet 6.5mm panel hole diameter fit best (is the one I used but the actual hole size is 8mm) WS2812B LED's - I have got some of these LEDS on the way. Which look just the job... (I am using these currently which are great but my wife didn't like the black wire )

If you want more than a couple of strings of 50 LEDs you will need to inject power every couple of strings. I suggest getting some 5.5 mm x 2.1 mm DC Power Splitter Cable - 5.5mm x 2.1mm DC Power Connector Male Female Screw Terminal Connector
