HW411 (LM2596 module)

Looks like this is not the first case for this module on thingiverse :) You can just print this if you need a LM2596 case or you can use the API for making yours, The 2 parts of the box are tightened using M2.5x16mm screws (configurable).

API

I wanted to design a full configurable PCB Box, they all have the same need:

• Size fitting the PCB:
• The API receive PCB sizes
• The box has lips for perfect fitting
• Screw the PCB:
• The API receive any number of holes definition/positions
• Hold the cables:
• The design uses zip ties
• Hold the box:
• Uses zip ties as well

The LM2596 box SCAD file is just an example and is attached to this thing

Prerequisites for customsation

What you need:

• Install OpenSCAD
• Install libraries (see below)
• Create a new file in OpenSCAD.

Folowing libraries must be installed in `%USERPROFILE%\Documents\OpenSCAD\libraries` The folder `libraries` might not exist you have to create it yourself.

Download as ZIP and unzip in libraries:

• scad-utils
• agentscad

The result should be:
