Modelo 3D ENDER 4 COMPACT COREXY CONVERSION por jondevos no Thingiverse

Descrição

THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. I HAVE HAD IT PRINTING FOR A FEW DAYS NOW WITHOUT ISSUE BUT AM STILL MAKING SMALL CHANGES AS I TEST IT.

This is a custom corexy conversion based off of my Ender 4 frame. It could be used on any square frame though. The main idea was to fix a major racking issue I was having with my stock Ender 4 H-Bot design. This has completely eliminated all racking issues and circles are perfectly circular now.

NOTE- This currently limites your print size in the Y direction to 217mm. I will modify the design slightly in the future to address this. X axis was limited to 220 in firmware but in reality it should be more like 230. Ill have to adjust firmware to test.

There are other corexy conversions on thingiverse but there were some major differences I wanted to address;

1- The motor mounts and front pulley mounts are all designed to help strengthen and square the frame. 2- Belts are close to frame for both appearance and to reduce chance of hitting them and messing up a print. 3- All parts are minimal to reduce weight while still being solid

I used all stock screws and components except for the following. All sizes will be updated when I get a chance

1- 6 toothed pulleys (2 for Y Gantry and 4 for front pulleys) ( "X tooth" with 3mm hole) 2- 4 M3 screws with nuts(2 for front pulleys on Y Gantry and 2 for front pulley holders) 3- 3 M5 screws and nuts for X Gantry wheels to reach through the back part.

I am still working on a new X Gantry with parts cooler fan. Still require to measure and print spacers for small toothed pulleys to keep them centered on mounting screws but prints just fine as is.

In order to create room for the belt to run between the Y Gantry and the frame, I had to cut off approx 10mm from the aluminum extrusion used for the X axis. I just used a hacksaw.

I started designing this last year but was then deployed for 6 months and had to continue this year so there may possibly be some little issues that I have missed. If you have any suggestions or comments, leave them and I'll see what I can do.

Also don't mind the screwdriver in the front right pulley holder. I didn't have a long enough M3 screw so am using it as a temporary mount. lol

Video in action in the instruction area.
