Was printing a couple of RobagoN's fantastic detailed trees for Gloomhaven and was thinking without the canopies they'd be great dead trees for the post apocalypse or battlefield but the branches are cropped quite tight to fit inside the canopy so I decreased the triangle count a fair bit in Meshmixer and played with stretching the branches and trunk one bit at a time to give a bit more height and variety. Should print with minimal supports from my experience printing the regular tree.
