This is a submission for the Autodesk Fusion 360 Challenge presented by MakerBot

MiniPegS is a Miniaturized Pegboard System that brings the storage versatility of the Pegboard to any desk. MiniPegS consists of two Desktop Pegboards that can be used independent of each other, but are designed to be clipped together for easier storage and transportation.

Although MiniPegS’ Desktop Pegboards have been miniaturized to a 13”x 10” size, each Desktop Pegboard uses the standard ‘Large Hole’ Pegboard configuration. This allows the Pegboard accessories here, some provided by other Makers elsewhere on thingiverse, or even custom made accessories of your own design, to be used to create the best organizational system for your individual needs.

The large flat back of the each Desktop Pegboard is also well suited for the mounting of cork boards or whiteboards. This allows each Desktop Pegboard to be turned around when not needed to provide a convenient place for the writing or storage of notes.

For those without a dedicated work space, MiniPegS’ clips and handle can be used to quickly and easily attach two Desktop Pegboards together for transportation or storage.

Other than the previously mentioned cork boards and whiteboards, all other components can be 3d printed. To allow those of us without large print volumes to construct a MiniPegS, each Pegboard and backing has been split into four parts. The parts are to be fastened together using super glue and the designed dovetail joints. The usage of dovetail joints allows loads to be distributed across parts effectively without solely relying on the interface between the glue and the 3d printed components to carry the load.

To make a single Desktop Pegboard the following parts need to be printed:

Alternatively if you wish to cut and install pre-purchased pegboard you may just need spacers. I have designed some suitable ones, you will need (4) Pegboard Spacers.

In the spirit of the competition, I have also designed and provided some of my own Pegboard storage accessories. The Pegboard accessories provided are not meant to be a comprehensive list, but rather a collection of accessories that fit my personal storage needs best. MiniPegS works best when you personalize your Pegboards with accessories that suit your own storage needs.
