Una de las cosas que echo de menos en la impresión 3D es poder imprimir piezas completamente transparentes. En estos días estaba comiendo unas Pringles y vi que por la tapa se veía el contenido así que entendí que ya no necesitaba una tapa transparente si en vez de botarla a la basura la usaba como tapa de mis proyectos y de paso contribuir con el reciclaje.

Así que hoy presento un proyecto sencillo pero que me ha resultado útil. Se pueden crear contenedores para las patatas, baterías, puntas de taladro, tornillos, varillas, pastillas, etc., y usar como tapa la de una lata de Pringles. Los contenedores creados son apilables por lo que pueden colocarse uno encima de otro sin que se caigan.

En el archivo `Storage.Pringles.scad.zip` se encuentra un conjunto de archivos que permiten personalizar el resultado. Al tener demasiadas dependencias empaquetarlas en un solo archivo haría inutilizable el proyecto. Los principales archivos a usar están dentro del directorio `joaquinfq/openscad/Storage/Pringles`:

• `batteries`: Permite imprimir casi todos los tipos de baterías cilíndricas existentes.
• `bits`: Usado para imprimir contenedores de puntas de taladro hexagonales (en realidad se puede cambiar la forma 2D a usar).
• `container`: Es el módulo principal que permite dibujar el contenedor vacío y también aporta algunos módulos usados por los otros archivos. También dibuja una tapa aunque recomiendo usar la de las latas.
• `segments`: Permite dibujar un contenedor dividido en segmentos radiales.

One of the things that I miss least in 3D printing is being able to print completely transparent pieces. These days I've been eating some Pringles and I saw that the contents could be seen through the lid, so I understood that I no longer needed to print a transparent lid if instead of throwing it in the trash I used it as a cover for my projects and in the process I help to recycle.

So today a simple project is presented but it has been useful for me. You can create containers for potatoes, batteries, drill bits, screws, rods, pills, etc., and use the lid from Pringles can. The created containers are stackable so they can be placed on top of each other without falling.

In the `Storage.Pringles.scad.zip` file there is a set of files that allow you to customize the result. Having too many dependencies to package them into a single file would render the project unusable. The main files to use are inside the `joaquinfq/openscad/Storage/Pringles` directory:

• `batteries`: Allows you to print almost all types of existing cylindrical batteries.
• `bits`: Used to print containers of hexagonal drill bits (really, you can change the 2D shape for other uses).
• `container`: It is the main module that allows to draw the empty container and also provides some modules used by the other files. It also draws a lid although I recommend using the lid from Pringles cans.
• `segments`: Allows you to draw a container divided into radial segments.
