this is a completed project. It is running successfully on my own printer and does not need any further refinement.

I designed this bracket to install a permanently fixed keyboard to my FT-6 which keeps it in a location where my EZ bed leveling system will not contact it at the bottom of the Z axis. If you have one of the 7" LCD kits, this is incredibly handy as it makes changing temperature values MUCH easier than trying to fidget with the tiny buttons on the display to get the numbers correct.

Swap out the three 10mm M5 bolts for 15mm M5 bolts where you can see it installed in my pictures to solid-mount the base. The side pieces bolt on with M3x0.5 10mm machine screws.

This fits the iKKEGOL slim 78 key USB keyboard offered on eBay and Amazon. I stuck foam under the keyboard for a tight fight. This keyboard is alright but I recommend redoing the solider joints at the USB cord connection on the main board because they're trash. Mine was DOA and this fixed it and I saw plenty of reviews about it where it failed after weeks or months. I'm sure this would fix their problem as well.
