Descrição
This Mars base was designed to be underground, as wind or any other storm can pass the dome while it stays aerodynamically efficient. The inside of the dome is spinning constantly which creates artificial micro gravity through the centripetal force. It is also equipped with a solar panel on top to harness the suns energy and use as electricity in the base. It also has a UV translucent glass to protect from radiation which is clear aluminum glass (oxynitride), also the bottom hull is modular which is made out of titanium for maximum strength. Tube elevator design for going up and down compartments, at the very bottom, stores septic waste which doubles as a methane and hydrogen gas collector through decomposition . Middle tube is for vegetation to maximize oxygen level and condensation for water. It really can withstand the elements in addition to feel like home, it has everything from bedrooms to entertainments, kitchen etc. I hope you guys like it.
Instruções
If you print this make sure you print with supports. If you have wash away filament it will be easier for support removal. Since this is a modular design you can make this structure as high as possible or low as possible, I have two .stp files called glass line and part 23, open this and change the dimension to your specific height. Or you can just print the normal one and use it as the default height, use hot glue to hold in place enjoy.
Assembly Instructions;
Place Part 21 first
Place Part 20 on top of Part 21
Place Part 22 on top of 21 and repeat stacking 22 and 21 until finished.
Place glass line concentric in the middle.
Place Part 23 in the smaller holes of part 20, make sure they line up.
Glue the solar panel on top of the glass dome and put they glass dome on the highest Part 22.
