Descrição
I bought the wooden toy in the middle few years ago in Sri Lanka, and I realized this could be a perfect piece to be built in 3D printer!
Instruções
You need to print a head, a body, 4 arm1, and 4 arm2 to complete the figure. (of course you can print more if you want to make it taller). I used Makerbot Replicator 2 and it took about 7 hours to print the whole set(1 h(head) + 1h 50m(body) + 30m(arm) X 8)
Important: For the body, you need to generate full support.
Once printed, you need fabric covered rubber string (how do you guys call this in English?) to weave the parts together. The hole diameter is 4mm, and the string also works as joints so you have to pull it really tight to make them work well. Use metal wire as a needle and thread the string inside holes.
I'll put more detailed instruction next week. It's really cute and easy to make so I'm expecting many derivatives! Please try!
