Made this for my wife, she saw it at instructables (http://www.instructables.com/id/Typographic-clock/) and really liked the way it looked, so i decided to mock it up in solidworks. I don't have a cnc machine but i do have a 3d printer! Instead of 1 whole piece I decided to break it up and then attach them if i wanted to. It uses the clock mechanism out of an old sharp clock i had that wasn't as snazzy. But i'm sure any clock kit will fit in the base.

I used netfabb already to fix all the pieces. Each piece is approximately 150mm x 100mm. Print out all pieces separately and glue them together or just hang them as they are. I also included the number 3 for those of you that want more than 2 numbers on your clocks. (to get the 9 just rotate the 6 and voila!)

No need to glue the clock mechanism to the base, at least mine (it's a movebest H5158 out a round sharp clock)has a washer and hex nut to lock it into place.

(Warning!) I am aware that the clock mechanisms may be too large for the base and will stick out the back end, and also that the mounting hole on the base may be too small. WIP
