Modelo 3D Math-hatten a 3D model city for STEM projects por Jimbotron no Thingiverse

Descrição

Welcome to Math-hatten! We built this city! (cue the music).

**8/15/2019 Update: I've made a remix so that 4mm x 10mm map magnets can be used to assemble the tall buildings. So check that out before you start printing. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3812670

*4/12/2019 Update: I've added the "Radicial Hotel" parts and "Sculpture Park" parts that my friend and fellow 3D printing enthusiast Vic designed. The Innovator.stl file is a part of the sculpture park.

This is a city that my colleagues and I built to use as an obstacle/navigation course for the TI Innovator Rovers. These TI-Innovator Rovers are little robots that are programmed in TI Basic on the TI 84/83 CE and Nspire CX line of graphing calculators. They are a ton of fun to play with and are great for teaching STEM skills.

If you are in the Baltimore area around March 8th to March 10th 2019 come see the Rovers and the Math-hatten city at the TI Teachers Teaching with Technology conference.

The tall building sets: The buildings are similar to lego building blocks in that you can pin them together with lego pins or little map magnets that are glued in place. You can mix and match the building tops and middle spacers as you see fit. Each print is no taller than 200mm and should fit on most average sized 3d printers.

Print at 0.25mm layers, 3 shells, and 10% infill.

The stadium: To print the full stadium, you'll need to print two halfs and click it together. Use glue if you want to hold it together permanently.

Print at 0.25mm layers, 3 shells, and 10% infill.

The houses and other structures Print at 0.2mm layers, 3 shells, and 10% infill.

The solar charge stations can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3554397

Acknowledgements & Contributors: -Thank you to our 3d printing buddy Vic for helping design and print the city. -Thank you to our architect, mad-scientist, and mayor of Math-hatten, Curtis.
