Siempre me ha resultado frustrante que OpenSCAD no incluya una función para dibujar arcos. Estos días necesitaba dibujar varios arcos y estuve buscando algún módulo que lo hiciera y todos me parecieron bastante más complicados de lo que deberían ser pues algunos se basaban en diferencias de otros polígonos y otros no respetaban la variable $fn y usaban variables adicionales.

Al final hice un módulo que se basa en dibujar el recorrido del arco y apenas ocupa unas pocas líneas además de respetar el uso de `$fn`. En las pruebas que he estado haciendo renderiza bastante rápido.

Si cada arco dibuja una circunferencia el resultado puede ser utilizado para generar cilindros huecos (tubos) sin necesidad de hacer diferencias.

El archivo también incluye el módulo `arcs` que permite dibujar arcos concéntricos.

I have always found it frustrating that OpenSCAD does not include a function to draw arcs. These days I needed to draw several arcs and I was looking for some module that did it and they all seemed a lot more complicated than they should be because some were based on differences from other polygons and others did not respect the variable `$fn` and required additional variables.

At the end I made a module that is based on drawing the path of the arch and just occupies a few lines in addition to respecting the use of $ fn. In the tests I've been doing render quite fast.

If each arc draws a circumference the result can be used to generate hollow cylinders (tubes) without needing to make differences.

The file also includes the `arcs` module that allows you to draw concentric arcs.
