Update #2 1/13/19: To fit a full size (4/4) violin, scale the x and y (not z) to 105% in your slicer software. To scale the design to fit a 2/4 violin, scale x and y to 93%. In all cases you may have to make final adjustments by dipping the looped portion of the guide into very hot water (80-100 degrees Celsius) and pinching or pulling the arms of the guide to the final dimensions.

Update 1/13/19: I am test printing the new sizes for 4/4 and 2/4 violins and will post the files if they fit!

I made this for my middle school engineering project. The bow guide attaches to the fingerboard of a violin and helps to train a new violin player to keep their bow in the "sweet spot" between the fingerboard and the bridge.

Please do not copy or commercialize my design! Use it to help other new violin players.
