This is a wing servo cover/protector and foam wing hard points. Designed for Mini Talon but might work with different foamys.

Servo mounting screws should be used for securing the covers. This also allows to remove the cover for any readjustment or inspection in the future.

Edit 13/01/2018: The very important step I forgot to mention here before and highlighted by MarkQV is to 'cut-in' inserts with a servo screw to thread the inside of the wing insert. Do this step after you print this part, as otherwise there is a chance the inset might start spinning with the screw after it was glued in to your wing. A well threaded insert should allow you to easy screw in the servo crew while holding the insert in your hand. If you feel there is too much force required after you threaded the insert once, repeat the threading few more times for best results.

How to mount it on your aircraft:

Measure and mark position on your wing for the servo cover. The middle hole should be aligned with servo spline/arm rotation axis.

Ensure there is no rubbing or scratching of installed servo and a push-rod when it moves through it's full extension. Re-position if needed.

Mark out at least three hole positions for the inserts.

Push a scalpel in a cross pattern, where the wing hard point will be mounted.

Glue the wing hard points in position with hot glue (important! uhu por is too weak for this). Ensure the top of the mount is pushed flush with wing surface.

Mount the covers with servo screws.

The covers can also be glued in place in case you don't need/want to access servo horn for readjustments or maintenance.
