Descrição
Necklace that I created for my Kali costume.
The skull was scanned with 123D Catch and then made into a bead using OpenScad.
The bead that has three faces was created with an OpenScad file and was then cleaned up and smoothed out with MeshMixer.
I used emmet's stretchy bracelet OpenScad file to create the texture for the beads. I messed around with it until I had the texture I wanted and then exported it as an STL and imported that into a seperate file. I suppose I could have written it all as code, but I didn't.
Have fun with this, I sure did.

Instruções
Print and string the beads together.
For the depicted necklace I used:
- 14 of the large skull beads
- 2 of the large ribbed beads
- 2 of the small skull beads
- 4 of the small ribbed beads
- a single 3 face bead at the bottom of the necklace
I was in a hurry and ran out of time, so I just used the beads I had been prototyping and strung them together. I did not have enough white ABS, so I broke out the glossy white Krylon Fusion spraypaint. The gold beads were printed in red translucent PLA, then spraypainted gold.
This necklace took about a week to prototype and print. I printed the large skull beads on my Replicator in either white or natural ABS with 13% infil and 0.25 layer height. Each large skull bead took around 3 hours and 20 minutes.
All the OpenScad files will be uploaded soon! I am busy doing Halloween things, but will clean them up and post them soon.
UPDATE: The skull bead OpenScad file has now been uploaded. Make sure to download the vampireSkull_0.2.stl file and save it in the same directory to change the size of the bead / hole through the bread.
