###Tensegrity

Tensegrity is a construction method using struts and tendons. Here are files to print multiple struts. Use rubber bands for the tendons. Select appropriate length of the struts to fit the length of rubber bands. Selecting another index for the bottom side will rotate the slot, try what is best for you with respect to support structures.

Caps may be useful during construction, but should not be necessary in a completed model, except for decoration purposes. Make their radius slightly larger (about 0.1mm) than the struts for easier fit.

Find some building instructions on Youtube, looking for tensegrity or tensegritoy, which is a wooden version.

Tensegrity ist ein Konstruktionsprinzip mit Druckstreben und Zugseilen. Dies hier sind Vorlagen, um die Streben zu drucken. Als Zugseile kann man Gummibänder verwenden. Wählt man einen anderen Index für die Bodenfläche, dreht sich der Schlitz. Man sollte die Ausrichtung wählen, die für die Unterstützungsstruktur am günstigsten ist.

Während des Bastelns könnten Kappen nützlich sein. Im fertigen Modell sollten sie nicht erforderlich sein, ausser zur Dekoration. Die Kappen passen besser, wenn man den Radius etwas grösser wählt (etwa 0.1 mm) als den der Streben.

Auf Youtube findet man Konstruktionsanleitungen unter dem Stichwort tensegrity oder tensegritoy, einer Version aus Holz.
