10Jan2018: I've added a second option for printing this pendulum bob without the center column. The column can be replaced with a 3/16x.014wall tube after printing. I epoxied it from the bottom and left the top dry and flush with top of printed part.
I also modified the rear port so filling of the bob with lead shot should be easier. The low spot is the hole now, which should act a bit like a funnel.
This pendulum is patterned off a generic image I saw on the Internet while researching clocks to build.
It's designed to be used with a 1/8" rod fit through it's center. It can also be weighted with lead shot since it's hollow. The through shaft hole is sealed, so you can remove shaft from clock and not worry about lead loss.
A single internal strut exist to stabilize the long tube the 1/8" rod slides through during print. I did not need this but should add some strength until the upper end is attached during the print operation.
The pendulum shaft nut @ https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3157190 was designed to work with this part.
