Takes a surface height map from an image and renders it across the inside surface of a cylinder.

By the way, the proper name for these translucent etching things are "litho ph anes", but I've stuck to Thingiverse usage and custom in the title.

UPDATED: allow for embossing the outside of the cylinder rather than the inside. Outside embossing appears sharper when lit from behind, but then the cylinder isn't smooth on the outside when unlit. See the last two photos.

The customizer preview will be slow, but it will appear eventually.

Print with an excessive number of perimeters, or at 100% infill. You can improve the resolution of the height map by using the OpenSCAD file locally, but it will increase rendering time. 150x112 takes about 3.5 hours.

Best results will be achieved with a fairly high contrast image with a plain background. Try to have the background be as plain and as light or dark as possible. If you have a light background, select the option for a light background as that will change the backside thickness to blend in better. You may wish to preprocess your image to be 81x61 pixels and monochrome to make sure you get the best quality.
