First off, thanks to jsprenkle for providing the community with a great flame model. With this you can add realistic looking flames to your next project.
Print the base in any color with your typical settings with support. Print the flame in clear or natural pla/abs with low infill (5%) and thin walls (0.8mm)
I used these for Halloween Skull Torches using foam skulls purchased a Michaels.
Just dig a hole in the top of the skull to accept the bottom of the 3D printed base. Put the ceramic socket into the base, run the leads through to the base of the skull and add a Tayima power connector. Insert the bulb, add the flame cover and stick it on a post (i used bamboo sticks also purchased from Michaels)
These require a 12 volt power supply. You can use a garden light power supply, an old computer PSU or a 12v wall wart adapter.
