This is a mini snake hook for picking up baby snakes that seem to be a little snappy. It's not going to give you great distance so if you have something super aggressive the won't help. What it mainly does it allow you to move the snake without having to plunge your hand down into the cage and put your hand right in front of the snake. Many times with baby snakes (even with adults) once you have them moved out of the cage and they know something is going on, they are much less likely to snap. But if you wake them up and your hand it right there, snap!

This design is similar to much larger designs for adults, but it's my own design and just miniaturized for babies maybe up to 1 foot long depending on the species.

Hopefully obvious but the model includes the hook and a handle. I just put a dab of E6000 into the handle hole and insert the hook shaft. Also I've included the SKP file so you can modify it as you wish.

Note: I printed this in TPU and the shaft was a touch over-flexible. I cut about 30mm off the shaft length with scissors and it works great. I think the design as it sits would be fine if you print in ABS or something like that.
