To those of you who've sent a tip my way- that's so kind of you and very much appreciated.
If you print or paint for color-coding, please post a make! I'd love to see how people use these.
I can never remember what different colored rings mean, so I thought I'd make condition effects simpler for myself. These are obvious status effect rings that you can place on your minis to indicate an active effect (see full list of available statuses below). They are sized to around 25 mm in the inner ring, but you may want to size up a few millimeters to accommodate different-sized minis. Note that the newest files (those with the text base facing outwards) have a slightly larger interior ring diameter.
The majority of statuses are available with text flush with the ring- files named following the convention "STATUS_OUTWARD.stl".
I wrote a batch script to convert all the original outward-facing rings to rings with slightly extruded text (similar to user Nitrocubane's remix, but with multiple words and spacing identical to the outward status rings), so those are all available as well- files named following the convention "STATUS_EXTRUDED.stl".
I strongly recommend doing a test print of just a few statuses to see if you need to resize to accommodate your mini base!

Storage:
There is now a "tube-style" carrying box that stores 12 rings per box in an individual compartment for easy organization (as shown in main photo), as well as a simpler box with 4 "tubes" for bulk storage- check out NinjaPrototype's Make. Additionally, there is a deeper version ("bulk_box_60_depth.stl" that is also untested, but should be identical to the make above, just with a greater depth. If you make one and it works, definitely post a Make!
For those who printed a ton of these, check out mpfennell's storage box remix with slots for four individual ring storage trays- super cool!
Printing tips
Simplify3D has trouble with these- because I am a novice Blender User, the template I made leads to overlapping surfaces and I couldn't sort out how to properly perform a union join of the shapes. Cura works just fine, but if you like S3D, try this workaround from user Incurable:
>For anyone slicing this in S3D who have found that the letters aren't attached to the ring, I've found a quick solution.
> B. With the models loaded in S3D in the spot you want them printed in, go the menu bar at the top and click Mesh > Separate Connected Surfaces. This will separate the letters from the ring in the model itself, but maintain their position on your bed. No need to spend hours fixing each mesh with Netfabb or anything like that.
