Descrição
Since the 14th century, there are these hammer mills. They were built on the rivers and streams to forge iron with the power of water.
Just like the great role model, my hammer mill also works. Water drives the waterwheel and sets the cam-studded shaft in motion. The cams beat periodically on the ends of the hammer handles, thus lifting the hammer heads. As soon as the cams have left the area of the hammer handle, the hammers fall back onto the anvil. And the cycle starts again ...
This hammer mill is not only a nice toy, but also demonstrates in a vivid way how a hammer mill works.
