I redrew a pool bridge end fitting, inspired by Aydelott, to fit my tapered stick which was 11.85mm at the tip and 12.31mm in diameter 8mm up from the tip. This may or may not fit the taper of your stick. You may need to chase the 5mm set screw threads with a tap.
