I've been looking for a regular door stopper and found multiple options here, but all were either on the floor and have to be moved, attached to the opposite wall for the door or handle. I wanted something that will be as small as possible and inconspicuous as possible!

This is where this design comes from!!!

I leveraged the fact that you use it on the top door hinge and it being very small but still provide the functionality of stopping the door. Also, I designed it to make sure that it can be customized with moving parts to adjust to your door and how far you want the door stopper to stop your door.

You will need two screws and nuts for it:

• An M3 screw and an M3 hex nut for the Door Tab part.
• A #8 x 1-1/4" screw and a #8-32 hex nut. The Door Cap covers this screw to prevent damage to the door itself.

The screw the stops the door can obviously be screwed in or out to adjust to your preferred stop location. The Door Tab is also screwed in place to give you the ability to adjust it as well to fit your need.

To install, just pull the top door hinge out (careful with the door!) and put this in place with the hinge back in place.

If there is any interest in making any adjustment, like for example; using a regular M4 screw and nut instead of US #8, let me know. I will make a version for that as well.

Update 1: Made it slightly beefier to make sure it is strong enough with a significant door swing. Also, a few minor alterations to make it even more no supports printable friendly :)
