v3 Redesign
I have updated this project with some enhancements compared to the original
The bottom base
- had an unneeded ring around that I removed to reduce the amount of material used.
- decreased the thickness of the bottom base
The middle base(cog wheel)
- Inverted the numbers so that instead of protruding from the cog they are now printed into the cog. This was due to support materials causing some of the numbers to be smudged and unclear.
- the tabs on the bottom originally were to small, while it did work it didn't work very well. I have thickened the tabs to help the cog stay in place while gaming
Top Base
- reduced the height of the ring that goes around to reduce material used
Peg
- Just cleaned it up a bit in meshmixer nothing really is different with this one
Platform
- increased the thickness since the area where the peg goes under it was to thin and could easily be broken....
- removed the D&D symbol since the SVG file I used for it didn't seem to want to print it out and would just put a bunch of random tiny dots everywhere.
===============================================================
Height Platform used for determining how high a miniature is flying without having to make tall towers all over the table.
the dial in the center goes from 5-60ft
Scale the print as you need, this doesn't have a set scale in mind but instead allows for increasing or decreasing in size to accommodate the size of the miniature.
- Make sure you scale all items at the same time or that all items are scaled to the same size otherwise these pieces wont fit together
They are meant to be in High Rez so that the smaller details show up
I created this in TinkerCad and cleaned it up using Meshmixer
