Based on the Micro-Hexapod (lion) http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:34796 and the Hexapoduino and the Hexapoduino (pic tux) http://www.instructables.com/id/Hexapoduino-tiny-hexapod-3D-printed-Arduino-cont/ this version fits an Arduino Uno and a ming breadboard on the top and has space to attach a battery holder underneath. The top can be used by itself to make small prototypes or can be connected to the belly to have a walking insect. It has been designed to be used to teach electronics and Arduino to children and adults.

Uses 3 Microservo 9G, depending on your motors you might need 2 separate batteries otherwise the Arduino tends to reboot.
It's better to glue the back legs to the attachments as screwing them is not enough.
