This is one of the reasons that I love my makerbot. I needed a way to keep my front gate from swinging shut. This clip has just enough flex to allow the gate to pop under the lip on the front.

Print out the clip, and screw to the post with a couple of self tapping screws. Cease to try to hold the gate open with one foot while dragging the pram through.
