I needed a modified strike plate so the door latch would catch and keep my son's door closed. I live in a 100+ year old house, so I measured the one I removed and modified it to accomplish this.

In the photo, you can see the latch bolt was hitting the plate too high to catch. My modifications now allow the bolt to catch in the strike plate and it works great.
