The latest macs don't have a firewire 400 connection and so a 400 to 800 cable is needed to connect an iSight. This doodad holds the iSight with an attached 400 cable and has a bolt hole at the base for a standard tripod mounting screw.

The included scad has variables to adjust the x and y axis to match the firewire plug. No support needed to print, and the threaded portion for the tripod mounting is from the threads.scad so no need for a nut. The threads might be a bit tight but are great once it's been threaded once.

Update: Fixed the .scad with the correct module enabled for rendering.
