Modelo 3D 3D printer camera mounting system por hillbille no Thingiverse

Descrição

If you have a camera or something else that you want to use THIS system for and you need an adapter made , please use Comments to ask.

This is a re-mix, added to, combined with, simplified and complex camera support system for the Creality CR-10 series of printers and actually any 3D printer that utilizes the 20X20 and 40X40 rail system. There are several out there that are similar and I admit to copying and incorporating many of the parts I have in this collection. These are loosly based upon the GoPro connector system of attaching arms and mounts together to allow fixed camera placement.

This is a work in progress and I will probably be adding more files to the collection as needed or requested. The quick release GoPro frame is actually based on an SJ4000 clone and fits the SJ4000, I do not own a GoPro. Feel free to re-mix and adapt any of these parts to fit and work with any camera you may have and should you not want to do that, let me know in the comments section what it is you need or want. I'll try.

The rail mounts (20X20 and 40X40) are simple clip on type things that do exactly that - clip on. They are designed to NOT tilt under load, which is what is needed for any offset camera position you might want. The 20X20 can be mounted on the top rail for "downward" shots. These mounts can also be used underneath the rail if need be.

I have printed every single piece included. All prints were done on a Creality CR-10s. Most every file was printed utilizing minimal supports.

Cameras covered by these files: Logitech C270, Logitech "ball" type cams, SJ4000 (GoPro Hero), RunCam2, Belkin/Wemo type netcams and any other cam that can or does utilize a GoPro mounting system.

Sometimes getting a rough print is a good thing as these rely on friction to hold positioning. A word of caution when using the "Ball" and "Swivel Cup", DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN as these require very little friction to hold in place and will break if over tightened!

Hardware: Nuts and bolts, anything will do practically. US users can use anything up to a 10/24, I used 6-32 and 4-40. UK users can use anything up to a 5mm. I have used 4mm and 3mm. Totally up to you. The nut holder is sized to capture a 6-32 or a 4mm nut and works with either equally well.

This system has connectors and adapters to enable the use of Logitech (CL270 and the 160 B"Ball") as well as a GoPro or similar type camera.

I use the Flat undercarriage mount weighted with BB's to secure my Logitech camera for timlapses with Octoprint and Octolapse, as it allows me quick positioning at almost any angle.

Also please note the "Nut holders. They will accommodate several different size nuts for use on these adapters. Almost all of the adapters are sized to any of the bolts, so hardware choice is totally up to you.

ADDED: Noticed some people like to use a Belkin/Wemo net cam to watch their prints. Added a mount for this cam with a GoPro style adapter to allow more choices of mounting,

ADDED: Added a under carriage semi-flat box with mount and a lid. This can be weighted with BB's and will hold almost any camera steady - and - slide under the printer's carriage allowing time lapses that are not affected by vibration or bed movement.

UPDATE: 4/1/2019

Added more files. Reduced the sizes of a few arms as most people are not using these to hold a big heavy camera and simply do not need the size or weight, so I made them smaller and lighter by quite a bit. I included adapters to fit the normal size rail fittings, so all you need is an adapter and the newer lighter arms. The new "S" parts will save a LOT of filament over the full size items.

I've said it before, if there is anything else needed in this collection, post a comment to me and I'll see what I can do to add it.

Update: 4/2/2019

Added a smaller connector-swivel cup. The cup is the same and will fill all of the "ball" mounts, but I resized the connector to the small size.
