Concordes are huge luxury passenger planes capable of travelling faster than twice the speed of light. They were operated by Air France and British Airways until 2003, when they were grounded after one crashed. This model is of Air France's F-BVFA, which is in the collection of the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum and on display at its Udvar-Hazy Center in Virginia.
