Descrição
This is the Dextrus robotic hand from the Open Hand Project. It's a fully 3D printable robotic hand. In this case "Fully 3D printable" means that it can be made entirely from 3D printed and commercially available off the shelf parts. As such anyone with a 3D printer can make one.
This is still a work in progress, and is not the easiest build ever, but will be a fun project for someone that's interested in this field.

I have found that all parts print best in PLA with cooling. The cooling is necessary to make sure all of the bridging is done properly. I print with no support, but you may want to add support to some parts like the thumb and thumb cover.
I use a fine layer height for the spools of 0.15mm but 0.25mm for the rest of the parts. The spools seem to work much better when printed in PLA.
ABS seems to have a less frictional surface so the tendons move slightly more fluidly through the fingers if they are printed in ABS.
Once printed, the only clean up needed should be to remove the flat bases from the finger joints.
