I couldn't find a suitable nozzle that didn't soak my sidewalk so I made a "side-strip" style Rainbird nozzle that accommodates a more narrow strip. The flow is controlled by drilling the orifice opening (in the base of the nozzle) to to the suitable size for your application. I think there is potential to modify a nozzle like this more to provide a variety of customised nozzle spray patterns, some of which may not be available using purchased nozzles. Prints without any supports. Works great in ABS. I will make more versions in the future to fine-tune other parts of my lawn sprinkler system (saving water!) I think this part would be great if it could be Customized in thingiverse (e.g. define spray pattern, spray distance, flowrate, etc)
