A lot of things have a cylindric form and can be stored and stacked in a storage, rather than stand vertically and waste a lot of space. In my own kitchen, I had at least two examples that came to mind, waste bag rolls in different sizes that took a lot of space, and spices. See for yourself in the pictures. This is fully customizable: edit the Openscad file to select your desired size, whether or not you want stacking rails (both for stacking on top and underneath), and if you want screw holes to put it on a wall. The latest version includes a stand for a hive with an angle that would be placed on a horizontal surface, like the pen storage in my case. Enjoy!
