Just a fun project I made. It's a robot scallop that is afraid of the dark so screams!

A brief overview of how it works: I used an Arduino Uno for this project. A light dependant resistor is used to sense the light level inside the shell. A SG90 micro servo opens and closes the shell. The speaker is connected to an amplifier which was switched on and off by a MOSFET. The audio signal to the amplifier is from a standard audio jack.

0.7mm diameter wire is used to create the hinge for the shell to open and close. It is also used to attach the servo arm to the "link_bar", the other side of the "link_bar" connects to a 16mm M3 bolt and square nut.
