Glue the two halves together, making sure the cylinders align. The holes in the top build are for 6 set screws used to align you laser pointer. They are the right diameter for a #8-32 tap. The large hole in the side is to press the laser pointer button, again, tap with a 1/4-20 tap.

If you laser pointer is a different design, you may need to drill and tap an alternate hole location to press the on button.
