Why I did the thing

I have a dual-boot tablet that has all the ports aligned on one side, and it seemed perfect for a docking station. Rather than simply designing a one-off specific to an odd tablet, I tried to create a flexible design that could be used for other tablets or phones as well.

How I did the thing

I liked telepath's Elliptic tablet stand so I used that as the starting point, but modified the code to make it Customizer-friendly. (You can also download the scad if you prefer)

When it came to the shelf design it took a lot of patience to get just right. There's a lot of test code commented in the scad file that you may find helpful. Some suggestions: + Make your measurements with the cables plugged in. + Look for nice, plain, square or perfectly evenly round cables + Print out some shelves with a very low thickness to make sure everything's lined up just right. + If you set the diameter (or the width or height) to zero, you can have fewer ports.

If you happen to have a Teclast T16 Power, then the defaults will work nicely for you. Otherwise, you should be able to use Customizer to do what you'd like! You can add up to three circular ports and 3 rectangular ports, then generate both the stand and the shelf. I recommend setting the shelf thickness to a very, very low value for a few test prints while you get the alignment and sizing just right.
