Why have I designed this?

Since 2010 I bought my 3rd mouse of this type. The small rubber ring of the scroll wheel disbands after a time. This is a big design failure. But I like the design, function and the low energy consumption of the mouse. Therefore I designed this spare part for the rubber wheel.
