I have since made this infinitly better.

Also I have failed to inform the community that this is designed to use a 3.5" HDD platter as the top of the platform so it doesn't melt...

I am currently printing it and will also include pictures of basic assembly and final product. So if you have recently liked this or planned on printing.

You will need to print the base and the bracket (i suggest ABS - because it trumps PLA - brittle crap) pull a platter out of an old 3.5" HDD glue it to the top using the bracket to line it up and center it. turn this baby over and drill out the holes for the launch pole find a nice wire hanger and cut off the straight part to use as a launch pole slide in the appropriate hole for your rocket.

set about launching your rocket!
