Another idea using models created by the Flexy-Frame Construction Kit.
Print as many as you want and combine together with the three lobed connecting pieces.
This could be printed pre-assembled with dual extrusion. One flexible and one rigid filament.
Other tessellation shapes can easily be created with the construction kit too.
Instruções
Print male connections in flexible filament, (I use Filaflex from Recreus)
Print female tiles in normal rigid filament.
There are a couple of sample sizes tiles and connectors to give you an idea which direction you may want to go.
Assemble and glue for more permanent use.
