Revised .ai files have been uploaded on 7/25/12, due to some changes. Download the BotoP2.zip instead of BotoP1.

Just uploaded on 7/24/12 a revised BOM parts list. Download and use Parts List-RVSN.pdf.

An electrical wiring diagram is forthcoming.

There are 2 types of material 3mm MDF and 58mil (.058 inch) art-board

We got the MDF from Lowes and the art-board from Michaels

When cutting the material from BotoP2.zip ai files, files names ending in thin are cut on the 58 mil art board (two files). Files ending in 2x are to be cut twice.

We used a Full Spectrum MLE-40 laser cutter.

For the cuts on the MDF we used:

Red 30% speed 100% power (15ma). Blue or Purple 30% speed 100% power. Black (lettering) 100% speed 5% power.

It takes about 2.5 hours to cut everything.

The gripper is not part of the BOM it is from RobotShop. It mounts to the toolmount2.ai assembly.

The software to operate the bot is in the file "BotomatonProtoRel.idl". You will need to download the graphical language called Azido from www.Azido.net in order to compile and run. Also, you will need to download the Nexys3 system description (device driver) from the same site.
