Descrição
This is my rendering of a modular rocket. The fins can be installed any of a number of ways (swept back, forward, out and of course, plain old straight like you see in the photo). The tube with the launch lug has a coupler that separates, and is meant to mount (with glue) to the base of the nosecone. The bottom tube fits a B or C engine perfectly. You will need to drill a small hole for your desired shock cord and another in the cone's coupler. A streamer fits in the smaller top tube and a chute (tightly) in the larger one. If you want it to be longer, break out one of the tubes and print it multiple times along with the second coupler and just stack them. I will post individual pieces soon too. This rocket is a kit for the NoVa Mini Maker Faire in March. I will shortly make these kits available, built or unbuilt. Contact me over eMail if you want one. I will shortly be posting rafts for mass production ahead of the Faire.
Instruções
Print all parts for a single size rocket, print the couplers and additional tubes and just stack them up. Remember that your rocket should not be too long (about 16") because you will be pushing the C engine weight limit.
